Avery Dennison Acquires Technology
The linerless label technology developed by Catchpoint Ltd, a UK company based in Yorkshire, England, has been acquired by Avery Dennison Corporation (NYSE: AVY). Catchpoint’s patents, brand, trade secrets, and know-how are all included in the deal. Arrangements have been made to ensure the Catchpoint team’s continued assistance. Avery Dennison will honor Catchpoint’s existing commercial agreements under the terms of the agreement.

Innovation in the area of more sustainable product solutions is a key strategic priority for Avery Dennison. One area of opportunity in this area is linerless labels, which have the potential to reduce not only liner waste but also production and transportation costs.
