Greenkote Used Anti-Corrosion Coatings in Constructing Natural Gas Processing Facility

Greenkote PLC global provider of high-performance anti-corrosion metal coatings announced that its Chinese licensee has won a major contract to supply 1,200 tons of coated hex-bolts for construction of the new Amur Gas Processing Plant (AGPP) in the Amur region of Siberia. When completed, AGPP will be the second largest facility of its type in the world, designed to process 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. “There were six other suppliers competing, and the performance specifications for the coatings were extremely high.” Greenkote CEO Mark Gore said. “Because of the very harsh Siberian environment, the customer required unusually thick coatings as well the need to pass 1000-hour salt spray testing. Shanghai Premier did an excellent job!”
