Mr. Yusuf Doğru, General Manager of ACC Kimya

We had a pleasant interview with Mr. Yusuf Doğru, General Manager of ACC Kimya, about his professional  background, product groups and services.

Could you briefly tell our readers about yourself and your educational background?

I was born as the smallest of a family in Malatya which has green and a very beautiful village with plenty of mountains. After completing my primary, secondary and high school education in Malatya, I graduated from Istanbul Technical University Department of Chemistry in 1997.

I don’t see anything while I am working. I do not know disease,beceribusy or fatigue. I’m a man whose father teaches me that my word is my bond and I work as a model for his hard work.

I have always acted according to the position from my graduation to the present. I have I tried not to let anyone down and break in my business life. I tried to be twice as efficient as I expected from me in the areas I worked.Yusuf Doğru

I’ve been working on pigments and pigment pastes since I started working. Taking part in these processes has also taught me to analyze the fields I work in very well, and it has made me recognize people.

This enabled me to find solutions to any problems and to meet all kinds of needs in this area. In this sense, when the blood flow continues in the veins, education does not stop. My philosophy of establishing our own company took place in accordance with the values I took from my father.

We laid the foundations of ACC Kimya in the framework of ideas, hearts and cooperation with my dear two friends. Our basic principle is to work in a happy, peaceful working environment based on love. We are now trying to replace the people who educated us yesterday. I hope we will be light on the way of successful people.

Could you tell us about the progress of ACC Kimya from its establishment until today?

First of all, we should briefly talk about the stages of our team and then talk about our company’s organization and development.

ACC Kimya founders have come to this situation by working in all stages from production processes to the sales network in the companies they work to by learning, developing and renewing themselves.

The goal for these three young people; both the information and skills they have learned to show in their own company (I think the most important thing) and the best thing they do and know is to work with the colors and to travel in the world of colors.ACC Kimya
Our sector constitutes the most challenging part of existing production processes. The first thing seen after each production and found to be wrong is the color. It is for this reason that it is a separate source of happiness for us to do the work that we know even these challenges for more than 21 years.

ACC Kimya has achieved a very good momentum and has become a serious force in the market since its establishment in 2010.

Although many crises, raw material shortages and supply-side, difficulties have been encountered since our establishment, both the market share and the product range and the customer range increased day by day. We are preferred with the service and product repeatability in our country.

ACC Kimya, which is the first priority of customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction has carried its domestic power abroad with this principle. I remember our first laboratory work, our first production and our joy at the time we took our first order, and I think it’s important to show where we will come from.

Could you tell us about ACC Kimya’s product groups and the industries that ACC Kimya serve?

At first, ACC Kimya seems to be a company that only makes products for the paint industry. But the fact that the work is not like this can be understood from the diversity of the sectors in which we work. We are a company that provides raw materials to paint and coating sectors and has become a brand.

In addition, we provide products to a wide range of companies, from textiles to plastics, construction chemicals and floor applications. This variety is increasing every day. We perceive nature by seeing, hearing and feeling.

Nature is a real color chart for our sector. In this sense, ACC Kimya produces and sells pigment paste raw materials for all color applications we have seen in nature with the brand PRPCOLOR.

Our product groups with the PRPCOLOR brand produces pigment paste suitable for water-based, solvent based, universal, tinting, polyurethane, solvent-solvent free epoxies, Liquid masterbatch systems and R&D studies according to the needs of the companies or the market, we produce special products Our products are used as

colorants for all water-based paints and applications, textile industry, alkid based paints (Rapid and synthetic), industrial and acrylic paints, cellulosic paints, road marking paints, plastic-rubber PVC products, polyurethane and epoxy coatings.

Can we learn philosophy of ACC Kimya’s sales network and after-sales services and customer satisfaction?

Our sales network should be divided into domestic sales and overseas sales. Domestically, our dealers in almost every region of Turkey present. we have been selling direct ourselves to the regions, if we do not have any dealers. Being in Istanbul offers us serious advantages in reaching different geographical areas.

We ship to the European side and out of the province every day of the week.

Our overseas sales do to distributors or manufacturers according to the country and country where we are with our own team. The fact that we are an Istanbul company also gives us a great advantage in terms of foreign suppliers and for us. Customs clearance and shipments abroad are very costly expense items in today’s conditions.

As we care about our customers and ourselves in this sense, we are in a position to respond to all kinds of needs without sacrificing anyone within the framework of mutual understanding.

You can realize that the human factor is the main factor in the production process of our products. Therefore, there will be deficiencies, inaccuracies and problems. This is an inevitable process. But managing this process is one of the most important stages of the work.

It is very important for us to minimize these problems or problems when managing this process. Since our establishment, we keep the customer satisfaction in the forefront with the services we provide in line with the needs of the enterprises with our R & D and production-oriented works.

With this solution-oriented approach, we have always aimed to take our customers and our customers forward and to guide the sector. All the companies we serve for our company are valuable.

Whether 1 kg or 1000 kg. All complaints from our customers are derived from us or evaluated immediately, solution-oriented studies with our laboratory unit are concluded quickly and shared with our stakeholders with all the details.

ACC Kimya will continue to serve our valuable customers without compromise on quality with the motto ‘’You Dream We Color İt’’.

How is the 2018 and do you have a new project you want to do for 2019 and want to share with us?

Our most important goal is to work harder with our existing customers. We are a company who knows contenting oneself. We are working with all our strengths and know-how knowing that our customers’ references, diversity in our product range, special color and special product manufacturing infrastructure will lead us further.

Our works have gone through a significant growth momentum as planned until 2017 and the third quarter of 2018. But the last known process broke some balances. These balances were experienced especially in the domestic market.

2018 was a very meaningful and full year in the foreign market, whose infrastructure we have built for many years.

In 2018, we carried out a very important TUBITAK project, which we think is very important and that we will put into action in the following years, and we have successfully completed it. Now we are trying to channel this product to the market.

In 2019, we will continue our progress with fast but firm steps forward in both research and development and production departments.

Especially as we are in front saddled with our products in Tinting systems and TUBITAK projects range and ACC Kimya and PRPCOL brand is in Turkey’s market no longer we will continue to work with all our strength to ensure that the brand in the international market.

We will meet customers or distributors all over the world at the Nuremberg-European Coatings Show 2019 exhibition organization in March 2019. We wait to visit our stand everyone who reads this interview.

What are the reasons for attending international fairs?

We have been taking part in domestic fairs since we were established as a company. I think that these organizations are meaningful in terms of brand awareness and value in the eyes of customers. The dialogue with both domestic and foreign customers at these domestic fairs and our job to do our job has improved us.

For this reason, we are striving to achieve this respect in these global markets by participating in international fairs, to produce products in European  standards without sacrificing product quality and to bring added value to our country.

According to us, we were succeeding to sign of some diversity in Turkey. We want to show this different approach and service to foreign countries. I think who works with us do not regret to get the variety of products, speed, quality and most importantly technical support.
