Special Solutions for Special Applications
Since 1946, Klaus Union GmbH has been a pioneer especially in the chemical and petrochemical plants, with pumps that are resistant to quality and long-lasting.
Our brand, which has come to the forefront by supplying magnetic driven pumps to these sectors throughout its history, invested in the Klaus Union Turkey factory Kemalpaşa, İzmir in 2021 for mechanical seal pumps for use in the chemical industry in accordance with ISO
2858 standard All raw materials used in production are included to our system after the input quality controls.
All pump casings included in our system are subjected to hydrostatic testing in accordance with EN ISO 5199 standard. All pumps that are being manufactured in Klaus Union Turkey factory are 100% and test values are presented with our pumps.
Traceability is at the forefront in our system. In this way, we set out with the slogan “Quality is Our success” and we continue on our way with the belief that “Our quality is Your success”.
We can offer special solutions for special applications such as ammonia, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and nitric acid in fertilizer plants. We can offer complete (including bearing housing) special material solutions such as 316 or 904L for applications where corrosion
and abbrassion is/will be intense.
In petrochemical applications, we can offer ATEX certified pump solutions for bare shaft end pump and complete pump. We make our selections together with our suppliers and design the most suitable pumps for applications such as chemical solutions, organic solutions,
acid solutions.
In the chemical industry; in addition to ethanol, methanol, caustic, acid solutions, anolyte solutions, we can manufacture and supply pumps for special chemical applications. We can offer special solutions such as heating jacket, drain connections for the casing and plan 11 connection.
Below you can find the most basic features of Klaus Union pumps:
• Due to the risk of corrosion, we use a solid shaft made of 1.4462 material in our pumps instead of using carbon steel shafts with shaft sleeves. These are the standard shafts we have in stock.
• The baseplates which are used are solid in accordance with DIN 2858 standard, instead of producing from I and U metal profiles. We can also supply 304 or 316 material baseplates in applications with corrosion risk.
•Since our finished and raw materials that have passed quality controls are in our stocks, we can deliver spare parts in a short time even if the end user does not keep spare parts stock.
• Our team performs coupling adjustment with laser coupling device, vibration control, temperature control if requested, to ensure safe commissioning of pumps. If there is any uncertainty in the pump due to process conditions, we can take the pump back and perform the performance test with our customer, thanks to our test station, to make sure that the correct features are working.
• As per our quality assurance procedure, we measure and control each piece that comes to our factory one by one.
• In accordance with our quality assurance procedure, we apply not only 10% but also 100% hydrostatic tests to all pump casings.
• As per our quality assurance procedure, we perform the ISO9906 IIB performance test for each pump completely, instead of just turning the pump start and stop.
While performing the performance test, we make sure that all instruments/electrical components are calibrated for measurement, and we can share calibration reports if requested.
During the tests of the pumps, instead of measuring the power consumption from the
motor, we use torque meters to get more accurate results.
• We perform witnessed performance tests with a reasonable prices.
• Thanks to precision casting, we have raw materials with better surface quality. In classical casting; we prevent casting bubbles or surface defects.
All Klaus Union products are developed and designed by experienced engineers. It is
