Concrete and Mortar Chemical Admixture Manufacturers Association (KÜB), with the Ordinary General Assembly, elected the new Board of Directors.
Suat Seven, the Country Manager of BASF Türk Kimya Construction Chemicals, was elected as the Chairman of the Board of KÜB. Mr. Seven has taken over that duty, from Mr. Emrah Erti who was KÜB’s Chairman for the past two years.
In the new period, following people were elected for the KÜB Board of Management: Osman İlgen (General Manager of Chryso-Kat Admixture Materials), Haluk Abbasoğlu (Draco Construction Chemicals Chairman) Selman Tarmur (Mapei Construction Chemicals General Manager) and Turgay Özkun (Sika Construction Chemicals General Manager).
In the agenda of Suat Seven, who will lead the admixture sector in the forthcoming period, the studies which are on going and planning together with the European Federation of Concrete Admixture (EFCA) will take the first place .
According to the EFCA statistics for the year of 2017, the European concrete admixture market is 1.3 million tons in volume. Turkey represents of this market’s 46% by 600 thousand tons.
The Admixture Manufacturers Association (KÜB) gathers Concrete Admixture Manufacturers under one roof which have approximately represent 78% of Turkey’s market volume and have an important representation power.
