Technical Polyurethane Congress: Call for papers is still open

The Technical Polyurethane Congress will host the leading companies and academics of the polyurethane industry for two days. Abstract submissions for the upcoming congress are still being accepted.

The Technical Polyurethane Congress, organized by POLYDER (Polyurethane Industry and Importers Association) and Artkim Group / Chem Media, with IKMIB (Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association) as the main cooperation partner, will be held at the Pullman Istanbul Hotel Convention Center on November 6-7, 2024. This event aims to bring together professionals and stakeholders from the polyurethane industry.

Companies as well as academic research institutes are kindly invited to submit their original, high-level technical research findings that highlight advancements in polyurethane applications to be considered for presentations at the Technical Polyurethane Congress. Guideline for submissions are as follows:

The main themes at the Technical Polyurethane Congress and Exhibition are innovation, sustainability, functionality, digitalization and artificial intelligence. Presentations should be non-commercial; authors should focus on scientific and technological content in their presentations. The use of trade names and trademarks should be avoided as much as possible. Abstracts and full papers can be written in English and Turkish. Turkish translations can be included upon request.

Please pay attention to the specified rules when writing the documents: Full texts should be written in MS Word format, text body in 12-point font, headings in 14-point font, Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, with 3 cm margins on the sides and bottom of the page. The full text, including articles, texts, illustrations, graphics, pictures, tables and references, should not exceed 8 A4 pages.

Paper presentations during the congress will adhere to a time frame of 20 minutes, followed by a 5-minute question and answer session, totaling 25 minutes per presentation. Poster presentations must be designed to fit within a designated area of 70×90 cm, ensuring that all text is legible from a distance of 2-3 meters.
