The Flowmeter with a Keen Sense for Utility Gases

A reliable and versatile instrument for pure gases and gas mixtures, Proline t-mass F/I 300/500 helps ensure potable water safety and effluent legislation compliance.

Endress+Hauser introduces a flowmeter, that allows plant managers to optimize their disinfection processes for drinking water and wastewater.

Providing highly accurate and reliable gas measurement, Proline t-mass F/I 300/500 devices help guarantee water quality and safety in accordance with local legislation.

Equipped with Heartbeat Technology for diagnostics and monitoring they offer automatic device verification without process interruption.

A warning function in case of pulsating flow or condensate further enhances the monitoring process.

All wetted parts are made of corrosion-resistant steel to ensure high compliance standards and longterm operation.

The devices come with a backlit display with touch control and can also easily be operated via a web server and WLAN.

Endress+Hauser has successfully installed over 100.000 t-mass flowmeters in compressed air and gas applications worldwide.

Based on this experience, the expert for measurement instrumentation has developed a new thermal mass flowmeter, that supports plant managers in preventing waterborne diseases by ensuring water safety in their disinfection processes while allowing them to optimize their maintenance strategies to reduce operating expenses.

Accurate and Robust

Even when process and ambient conditions are fluctuating significantly, Proline t-mass F/I 300/500 ensures high measuring accuracy (±1.0%) with excellent repeatability (±0.25%). Gas flows with low pressure and a low flow velocity can also be measured without any problems thanks to the high turndown (up to 1000:1).

he t-mass F and t-mass I sensors feature maximum robustness, enabling them to withstand such factors as pipe vibrations, solid particles in the gas and process fluctuations (for example temperature shocks).

Thanks to its patented innovative sensor design, it is possible to operate the device over the long-term with limited maintenance, thus saving time and money for the user. All wetted parts are made of corrosion-resistant steel to ensure high compliance standards and long-term operation.

For gases that form an unwanted coating in the pipe, the sensor can be removed for cleaning work and reinstalled quickly and easily – without impairing the measuring performance.

T-mass F and I sensors are used at process temperatures up to 180°C (356 °F) and pressures up to 40 bar (580 psi).
