Alfatechnic manufactures humidity removal units operating according to the adsorption principle. Alfatechnic humidity removal units use desiccant silica gel rotors.
1. Structure and Components
Rotor: The rotor, manufactured using silica gel filling, consists of thousands of air passage channels that are chemically bonded. Filter: Filters are present at air inlets to prevent dust. Fans: Radial fans are used for process air and regeneration air. Heating System: Regeneration air heating system. Control Panel: Electrical panel that controls the unit.2. Operating Principle
In humidity removal systems using the drying method, the main element is the removal of water vapor contained in moist air. The silica gel rotor provides high efficiency in attracting and retaining water vapor. The air to be dehumidified, namely the process air, passes through the largest section of the rotor and exits as dry air. The air used for drying the rotor, namely the regeneration air, is heated. The regeneration air passes through the rotor in the opposite direction to the process air and exits the rotor as wet air (hot and humid air).
