New Address for Laboratory and R&D Services: Dermokoz
Laboratory and Research & Development Services: Your New Partner Dermokoz
In 2020, we set our targets with the policy of "Doing What Has Not Been Done, Not What Has Been Done."
Dermokoz Laboratory Services operates in accordance with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 Standard for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories, pursuing an impartial, swift, effective, continuous, accurate, consistent, reliable and independent policy in line with current regulations and quality requirements. Our objective is to deliver accurate and reliable analyses of cosmetic products, biocidal products and food items.
At the forefront of what we consider essential are respect for people and environmental sensitivity. The reliability of results we provide in our laboratory services, our independence, impartiality and client confidentiality are paramount. Ensuring and maintaining personnel competence across all parameters within our operational scope is among our core quality policies. In our laboratory operations, we continuously prioritize the sustainability of our quality management system, ensuring continuity in maintenance, verification and calibration services for all equipment, apparatus and consumables that lead us to our results, disregarding no deviation, however minor.
With our laboratory operations spanning 300 m2 of operational space, we initially established Chemical Analysis and Microbiological Analysis units for cosmetic product testing. To fully meet customer needs in cosmetics, we offer services for determining preservative effectiveness, identifying microbial contamination, assessing the physicochemical condition of products, determining preservative concentrations, establishing product claims, and conducting shelf-life and stability tests. For biocidal products, we provide services according to international standards for measuring physical and chemical parameters, conducting microbiological efficacy tests and determining active substance quantities; and in accordance with the Biocidal Products Regulation for analyses required by biocidal product registration files. We also participate in the market through our environmental and machine hygiene sanitation services for production facilities and personnel, as well as our consulting services.
Beyond standard analysis services, our laboratory offers specialized services using our rarely matched equipment, including product-specific particle size determination, rheological characterization, zeta potential determination, and sun protection factor (SPF) measurement for production and R&D purposes. In our newly established cytology-histology laboratory, work on reconstructed human skin continues at a rapid pace with our expert team. Upon completion of this project, we plan to conduct in-vitro testing in our laboratory for in-vivo tests (such as dermatological and hydration tests) that must be performed on cosmetic and biocidal products.
Step by step, we are moving toward our targets by carefully assembling the puzzle pieces. With our comprehensive Food Analysis Laboratory project currently underway, we will soon be meeting with our customers. With our guiding principle of doing what has not been done rather than what has been done, we aim to reduce our country's reliance on imported analyses to meet companies' testing needs. We continue our efforts to bring analyses currently unavailable domestically and obtained through overseas service procurement within our operational scope.
As the Dermokoz Laboratory Services family, we always say: "The day we stop learning is the day we die."
