Seal For Life Announces Acquisition of 4 Companies
Seal For Life, a coatings solutions company serving global infrastructure and industrial markets, announced the acquisition of Flame Control Coatings, Highland International, LifeLast and US Coatings.
In July 2019, Arsenal Capital Partners, a leading mid-market private equity firm, acquired Seal For Life as a coatings platform focused on global infrastructure and industrial markets.
Seal For Life's mission is to provide maintenance and repair solutions that extend the life and durability of critical applications such as water, wastewater, oil, power generation and petrochemical infrastructure. Seal For Life operates three facilities in the Netherlands, Belgium, India, Mexico and the United States.
Through these acquisitions, Seal For Life is expanding its protective coatings technology portfolio and application range while significantly increasing its presence in North America.
Flame Control Coatings - Based in New York, Flame Control Coatings manufactures flame-retardant, heat-resistant and specialty coatings. Its brands include Flame Control and TemperKote.
Highland International - Headquartered in Boone, North Carolina, Highland International formulates heat-resistant and corrosion-protective coatings with expertise in high-temperature coatings.
LifeLast - Based in Pflugerville, Texas, LifeLast specializes in high-performance polyurethane protective coatings and coatings for water, wastewater, OEM and industrial applications.
US Coatings - Based in St. Louis, Missouri, US Coatings focuses on corrosion prevention and heat-resistant coatings for oil and gas, mining, railroad and industrial applications.

In connection with the acquisitions, Jeff Oravitz was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Seal For Life. Jeff Oravitz, who has held a number of management and operational positions, is an experienced executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience in the global coatings industry.
