Vink Chemicals Begins Construction of New Facility
Vink Chemicals has begun construction of a new production facility. The facility in the Göhrener Tannen industrial area of Schwerin will create approximately 45 new full-time positions across various departments.
By selecting this location, Vink Chemicals decided to focus specifically on Germany. Investment in the new facility will exceed EUR 30 million. More than three years of intensive work preceded the acquisition of preliminary planning permission and the start of the construction project.
Following this process, planning permission for the facility was obtained after documentation of compliance with all legal requirements and the highest safety and quality standards.
Construction of the new chemical facility will enable the company to produce a significant portion of the raw materials required for the manufacture of technical biocides in-house, which will shorten shipping routes and supply chains like those at the headquarters in Kakenstorf.
Thanks to the facility's proximity to the Port of Hamburg, rapid access to major shipping routes will be achieved, thereby saving time and reducing costs.
