Kerevitaş's consolidated revenue in the first half of 2022 reached TRY 5.1 billion, up 156% compared to the same period of the previous year. Kerevitaş, one of Turkey's major companies in the frozen food, canned goods and margarine markets, disclosed its second quarter 2022 financial results to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). Kerevitaş's consolidated revenue for the first six months of 2022 was TRY 5.1 billion, a 156% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. Kerevitaş continued its steady growth in both domestic and export markets in the first half of the year with a rich product diversity based on innovation. The company's exports for the first six months of 2022 reached TRY 705 million, up 125% compared to the same period of the previous year. SuperFresh maintained its leadership during this period with innovative launches. In the first half of the year, SuperFresh introduced 13 new products (including channel and customer-specific products) to consumers. In addition to Ton Mix, which was introduced to the tuna market and won consumer approval with its "one meal health" concept, and its new products, SuperFresh strengthened its market leadership with a 24.7%* revenue share by the end of the second quarter. The company also reached a 46.2% revenue share in the second quarter of the year with brands such as Bizim Yağ and Teremyağ, which hold 100% brand awareness in Turkey's margarine market. Kerevitaş expanded its market share abroad by exporting in the margarine category to over 50 countries across six continents. Particularly in the consumer margarine category, where it has been present for over 30 years, it maintained leadership with the Ona brand in the Iraq, Syria and Georgia markets; in the out-of-home consumption sector, it maintained leadership in the bakery category in Albania and in the catering category in Iraq, Romania and Kazakhstan.
Kerevitaş Chief Executive Officer Mert Altınkılınç stated that the company continues to pursue sustainable growth both domestically and internationally, offering the following comments:
"At Kerevitaş, through our investments in innovation and R&D, we continuously develop our product portfolio according to consumer expectations and needs. In the first half of 2022, we maintained our leading position in the frozen food, canned goods and margarine markets with our strong brands. Our financial results in both revenue and exports prove our successful performance. Going forward, as Kerevitaş, we aim to create value, sustain growth and maintain our leading position in the broad ecosystem in which we operate."
