Nante Kimya Evaluates Export Figures

Can Gökseven, founder of Nante Kimya, which supplies raw materials to the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and animal nutrition sectors, stated that export figures in the chemical sector are showing encouraging development. Emphasizing that chemical sector exports reached USD 2.37 billion in June 2021, up 66.52 percent compared to June 2020, Gökseven underlined that the chemical sector is the top exporting sector according to these figures. Stating that chemical product export figures are showing encouraging development, Gökseven noted that sector exports in the first half of the year reached USD 12 billion, growing 40 percent compared to the previous year. Saying they have been producing to world standards since 2009, Gökseven pointed out that they also provide services in the fields of medicinal and aromatic plants and natural extracts, and are among the leading suppliers for Turkish industry. Calling Nante one of the select companies in this field, Gökseven emphasized that they offer a complete portfolio with a first-class supplier base, particularly menthol crystals, sweeteners and herbal extract products. Gökseven stated that they provide supply of plant-based fibers, plant proteins, oleoresins, sour dough powders, camphor, amino acids, plant oils, natural colorants and beta glucan. Pointing out that some of these products have antioxidant effects that strengthen immunity, Can Gökseven continued his remarks as follows: "These effects are particularly more pronounced in plant-based products. Accordingly, demand for these products continues to increase. However, there are certain standards for such raw materials. Many factors from product manufacturing to storage conditions are important for the desired effect from the products. These products must be properly stored in the correct climate conditions. Supply chain factors must also be well structured. If these factors are not paid attention to, the quality and active ingredient ratios of the product may change." Source
