Teksüt Moves Up in ISO 500 Ranking Compared to Last Year

Teksüt continued growth without interrupting production during the pandemic. Teksüt, one of Turkey's largest dairy and dairy products brands, climbed 5 places in the ranking of Turkey's largest 500 industrial enterprises (2020) announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, securing position 410. Positioned at 415th place in the previous year's (2019) table, Teksüt consistently continued to grow during the pandemic without interrupting production and supply. Arda Aksaray, Board Member of Teksüt A.Ş., evaluating ISO data, stated that 2020 was quite eventful despite uncertainties, and that the importance of production for a country's economy was demonstrated once again during the pandemic period.  

Continuing to produce and grow

Commenting on developments in the current year, Aksaray said, "As Teksüt, during the pandemic, we took extra precautions to safeguard our personnel's health against COVID-19 and maintained the supply of dairy and cheese without interruption. Following the Istanbul Europe, Istanbul Anatolia, Ankara, and Bursa Regional Directorates, we launched the Izmir Regional Directorate to provide better service to our customers in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions. In 2021, we focused on growth in e-commerce and rapid market delivery retail channels and aimed to offer new alternatives to those seeking faster access to Teksüt flavors. We did not cease our export activities. Working persistently, we overcome difficulties. Our country has a highly developed dairy and dairy products industry producing at world-class standards that competes globally. The pandemic period also demonstrated the sector's strength to us once again."  

Producing dairy products for 65 years

Since its founding year of 1956, Teksüt is today Turkey's most established dairy and dairy products company. Established in Gönen, a district of Balıkesir, and initially founded on local-scale white cheese production, the company expanded its facilities and product range over time and continues production in its modern factory built on a total 80,000 square meters with 27,000 square meters of enclosed space, also located in Gönen.
