The Life Sciences Industry Comes Together in Istanbul
Artkim Group will bring the Life Sciences industry together with the Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients, Food & Nutritional Ingredients and Pharmaist fairs that will be organized simultaneously this year.
This comprehensive event, which will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center between 31 May and 2 June 2023, will bring together local and foreign visitors and industry professionals.
The 6th International Cosmetics, Personal Care, Detergent and Home Care Ingredients, Raw Materials and Technologies (Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients-CHCI) Fair will be enlivened with the "Smell and Taste Workshop" and workshops on perfume making techniques by perfumers and fragrance experts.
The 5th International Food & Nutritional Ingredients Fair, on the other hand, will showcase food and halal food ingredients, food analysis and product development systems, food safety technologies, food packaging technologies and food production equipment.
The 5th International pharmaceutical ingredients and raw materials fair Pharmaist 2023, where the latest products and technologies of the pharmaceutical industry, one of the most important sub-branches of the chemical industry, will be exhibited, will also offer participants the opportunity to interact with global brands to meet the chemical, raw material and technology procurement needs of the industry.
These three fairs, organized by Artkim, contribute to the creation of business development, new client acquisition, new business and cooperation opportunities in the international arena, and are preparing to host thousands of visitors from Europe, the Middle East, the Balkans, the Turkic Republics, North Africa and the CIS regions.
Artkim CEO Cengiz Yaman stated that they support the industry to achieve its export targets and pointed out that specialized fairs play an important role in establishing new business contacts and opening up to new markets.
Commenting on all three industries that make up the Life Sciences concept in his statement, Yaman said, "The Turkish cosmetics and cleaning products sector, which grows by an average of 10 percent annually, exports to 162 countries and has a foreign trade surplus. Our aim with specialization fairs is to contribute to this growth. In the food sector, we believe that Turkey has great potential with its favourable geographical conditions and climate, and large and fertile lands.
When we look at the global pharmaceutical market, we see that it reached a volume of USD 1.5 trillion in 2022. In 2022, Turkey ranked 21st globally in pharmaceutical exports with an increase of 0.6 percent and USD 1.92 billion. We believe that the fairs will have an impact on increasing Turkey's market share."
Fair visitors will be able to get information from experts about the latest developments and technologies in the sector, with the conference program and other events to be held between 31 May and 2 June 2023.
