Abdi İbrahim Provides Support to Fire-Affected Region

Abdi İbrahim mobilized to support the Muğla region, which has been devastated by forest fires sweeping across the country. An aid truck containing skin cream, fire-resistant gloves, fire-resistant coveralls, fire-resistant socks, fire-resistant shoes, carbon masks and flashlights—assembled based on the region's priority needs and intended for distribution to firefighting teams—departed from Abdi İbrahim's Esenyurt facility on 4 August in cooperation with Borusan Logistics and arrived in Muğla on 5 August. Simultaneously, donations collected through a campaign launched within Abdi İbrahim, taking into account the needs of those in fire-affected areas as identified by company employees, reached Milas as of 9 August. Abdi İbrahim management stated that aid efforts will continue based on needs lists identified by officials coordinating the relief work, saying: "Assistance is arriving at the disaster zone from across the country. We have been closely following this process from the very beginning. The local officials we spoke with conveyed that the priority is equipment and cream to be used in fire suppression operations. In the initial phase, we at Abdi İbrahim identified and delivered the urgent needs that were determined. Conscious of the responsibility that comes with being Turkey's leading pharmaceutical company, after fire suppression and cooling operations are completed, under the leadership of Abdi İbrahim Foundation, we will continue our work to provide long-term and sustainable assistance that will create value in fire-affected areas."
