10th R&D Project Market to be Held on 27 November 2021 The 10th "Chemicals and Chemical Products R&D Project Market," organized under the approval of the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, coordinated by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and arranged by İKMİB, will be held digitally on 27 November 2021. Applications for the event can be submitted until 15 October 2021. The Chemistry R&D Project Market, organized annually by İKMİB since 2011, aims to commercialize innovative and applicable ideas with strong R&D potential in the chemistry sector. Applications for the 10th Chemistry R&D Project Market will continue until 15 October 2021. The event's awards ceremony will take place digitally on 27 November 2021.

Total Cash Awards of TRY 700,000

Applications will be evaluated in six separate categories: "pharmaceuticals," "medical devices," "paints and adhesives," "plastics and rubber," "cosmetics, soap and cleaning products," and "basic chemicals." Project owners placing in the event will receive TRY 600,000 in prizes, plus an additional special award of TRY 100,000 for commercialized projects, for a total of TRY 700,000 in cash awards. To date, over nine years the event has received a total of 1,100 project applications, with TRY 1,756,000 in cash awards distributed to project owners. This year, each category will award TRY 50,000 to first place, TRY 30,000 to second place, and TRY 20,000 to third place. Additionally, among those placing, projects that are commercialized within the following year will be eligible to receive an additional TRY 100,000 award. This year, in cooperation with a fund provider, selected projects among the 36 finalists within the R&D Project Market framework will have the opportunity to meet with investors. If deemed appropriate, they will receive the necessary support to enter an investment round through Equity-Based Crowdfunding on the platform.
