GEBKİM to Invest in Adana The GEBKİM Board of Directors visited Adana Governor Süleyman Elban. During the meeting, GEBKİM Board Chairman V. İbrahim Aracı informed the Governor that they are ready to invest in the Ceyhan Yumurtalık Chemical Specialised Organised Industrial Zone planned to be established in Adana. During the meeting, which also addressed the investment agreement signed with Tatneft and the cooperation protocol signed with Uzbek chemical group Uzkimyosanoat, the GEBKİM delegation requested land allocation for the Ceyhan Yumurtalık Chemical Specialised Organised Industrial Zone. GEBKİM Board Chairman V. İbrahim Aracı stated that GEBKİM has gained considerable respect and recognition in the chemistry sector both domestically and internationally through recent international agreements and protocols. V. İbrahim Aracı noted that GEBKİM industrialists, representing Turkey's first Chemical Specialised Organised Industrial Zone with extensive experience and knowledge in the chemistry field, are ready to invest in the Ceyhan Yumurtalık Chemical Specialised Organised Industrial Zone, and that this could also attract foreign investors to the region.

Projects to Support Adana's Development

The meeting also highlighted GEBKİM's activities, which besides the facilities offered to industrialists also benefit regional development, such as GEBKİM Kindergarten and GEBKİM Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, provided by the GEBKİM Education, Research and Health Foundation, which have enriched the social environment in the region.

Green Light from Adana Governor

Adana Governor Süleyman Elban stated that infrastructure and permit work for the Ceyhan Yumurtalık Chemical Specialised Organised Industrial Zone is ongoing and will be completed in the near future, after which they will begin issuing land allocations. He expressed that he welcomes the requests of the GEBKİM delegation positively, that in principle there is agreement, and that investments by expert Organised Industrial Zones like GEBKİM to this region are very important for Adana and the chemical industry.
