Ersin Çelik, founder of Halimoğlu Fasarit Boya

We have learned with great sadness of the passing of Ersin Çelik, founder, honorary chairman of Halimoğlu Fasarit Boya, and pioneer of the paints industry. Ersin Çelik was laid to rest on Sunday, 8 April 2018 at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery Mosque. We offer our condolences to his family, relatives and loved ones, and pray for his soul to rest in peace. After completing his studies in 1958 at the State Applied Fine Arts School (TGSO), now the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University, Çelik deepened his theoretical and practical knowledge through an internship in Germany. Using this knowledge and experience successfully for the development of Turkey's paints industry, Çelik introduced numerous innovations in the field of decorative paints and their applications. The continuous operation of Halimoğlu Fasarit Boya for over 50 years has undoubtedly been achieved thanks to the solid foundations and sound foresight that Çelik established. We remember Ersin Çelik with respect for his contributions to the paints industry.
