İSİB Organizes Sectoral Trade Delegation

İSİB Organized Sectoral Trade Mission Climate Control Industry Exporters Association (İSİB) organized a Sectoral Trade Mission between 23-29 July with the participation of Turkish exporters to Peru and Colombia. Board Member Osman Baştaş represented İSİB in the organization. Bilateral meetings with the participation of 20 companies from Turkey saw attendance from 78 companies from Peru and 30 companies from Colombia, resulting in a total of 351 business meetings. Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Lima Serra Kaleli, who arrived at the hotel where the organization took place in Peru, wished success to Turkish companies and the İSİB delegation. During the organization's evening event, the Ambassador met with participating companies at a dinner at the Embassy residence. Bilateral meetings held in both countries were opened with information sessions led by Trade Advisor of the Republic of Turkey to Peru Leyla Uzun Kavşut and Trade Advisor of the Republic of Turkey to Colombia Muhammet Hartavi.

İSİB Board Member Osman Baştaş stated that the sectoral trade mission organizations held in Peru and Colombia were productive, and continued as follows;

"We view Peru and Colombia, South American countries, as markets where we need to achieve growth and subsequent development as Turkey's climate control sector. In 2022, the total climate control sector imports of both countries reached USD 3 billion. In order to increase our sector's share of this volume, we organized separate trade mission delegations to both countries. We observed that the companies participating in our organization made many connections that will translate into exports in these meetings. Through our marketing, communication and training activities, we believe that relations between countries and sectors will strengthen further and we will raise our export targets even higher."
