Pre-Export Authorization Requirement for Protective Masks and Medical Gloves Abolished
The Ministry of Commerce's announcement regarding amendments to the notification on export-prohibited and pre-permit-required goods was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
According to this, the requirement to obtain pre-permit for the export of protective masks (masks with gas, dust and radioactive dust filters) placed on the market under the personal protective equipment regulation and medical sterile/non-sterile gloves placed on the market under the Medical Device Regulation has been abolished. Protective masks and gloves, which were added to the list of export pre-permit-required goods last year due to measures to prevent the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, have been removed from this list.
