Cosmetics sector among notable growing sectors

GTÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hasan ASLAN evaluated the program's purpose and outcomes in his opening remarks as follows: "The cosmetics sector has become one of the sectors drawing attention with its rapid growth in recent years. In particular, the widespread adoption of e-commerce has enabled this momentum to accelerate further with each passing day. Given this situation, the cosmetics industry has become one of the areas that has created a good share for itself in terms of investment areas. Another reflection of this economic opportunity manifests itself in research and development. This field brings together opportunities that could open doors to many academic studies for both universities and the cosmetics industry. As you can all imagine, one of our country's most important employment problems is the difficulty of finding qualified, skilled personnel. To overcome this problem, both universities and the private sector bear great responsibility. As Gebze Teknik Üniversitesi, I would like to take this opportunity to state that we are ready to provide all kinds of support and opportunities in this regard. The Cosmetics Congress organized jointly this year by Gebze Teknik Üniversitemiz and Kimyagerler Derneği, which has reached its 10th edition, features a comprehensive program in both sectoral and academic terms. The congress program, which will address in detail the topics I mentioned just now, will be very beneficial. On this occasion, I extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to the realization of this congress.''
