paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2020 Fair and Congress Postponed

As the public has closely followed, the negative effects of COVID-19 coronavirus have increased globally in recent days. In this context, we are seeing many important organizations abroad being postponed. Bosad Boya Sanayicileri Derneği and Artkim Fuarcılık Tic. A. Ş., under the influence of strong demand from participants and visitors, have decided to postpone the paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2020 Fair, which was scheduled for 19-21 March 2020, to 25-27 June 2020.

The written statement issued is as follows:

"The recent spread of the COVID-19 virus, known as coronavirus, to new countries, and consequently the travel restrictions imposed by authorities and many companies at the corporate level, have been identified as creating serious problems for the potential participation and engagement at the paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2020 fair. There is concern that this outbreak will pose a serious health risk to fair participants, staff and visitors. The authorities of participating and visiting companies at paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2020 have notified us both verbally and in writing regarding the need to revise the dates of this fair, which was planned to be held between 19-21 March. As Bosad Boya Sanayicileri Derneği (BOSAD) and Artkim Fuarcılık, we share similar concerns and regard the health of participating companies, visitors and all persons present at the fair as our highest priority. In this context, following our latest assessments as BOSAD and Artkim Fuarcılık and our discussions with Istanbul Fuar Merkezi, the decision has been made to postpone the paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2020 fair to 25-27 June 2020. As Artkim Fuarcılık Tic. A.Ş., we believe this decision, which has been reached by ourselves and all sectors on common ground, will be received with understanding."
