Polifarma to Cover Girls' Education Expenses

Polifarma, a domestic and national pharmaceutical company that has been manufacturing in Turkey's healthcare sector for 35 years, is covering the education expenses of girls through the Turkish Education Association, believing that a society's future can only change through education, so that today's young girls become tomorrow's strong women.

Polifarma, a 100 per cent domestically-owned pharmaceutical company, is setting firsts in its sector and working to reduce Turkey's dependence on external sources in healthcare while not neglecting social responsibility initiatives. Believing that education is a fundamental point in a country's development and in having a healthy and strong society, Polifarma is providing support today for the education of tomorrow's strong women on the occasion of International Women's Day on 8 March. In this context, Polifarma has made a donation to the Turkish Education Association (TED), covering one year of education expenses for 10 girls.

Vildan Kumrulu, Vice Chair of the Polifarma Board of Directors, sharing details on the matter, said: "The world is changing every day, but we are still talking about equality for women. There is only one way to achieve this. Education, education, education… The more educated women there are in a society, the stronger that society is, the happier it is, the healthier it is. At Polifarma, with this awareness, we wanted to support the education of our young girls who are the future of our country, and we made a donation to the Turkish Education Association to cover one year of education expenses for 10 girls. We believe in this country's young girls; as tomorrow's strong women, they will take Turkey much further."
