"Let's Produce with Technology" Platform Being Established

Lenovo's initiative has launched the FutureBright Group, a "Produce with Technology" platform bringing together Turkey Education Volunteers Foundation (TEGV), ITU ARI Teknokent, and Başarsoft, to support education aimed at building a technology-producing society. The platform, targeting technology-driven production in Turkey, will equip children, students and entrepreneurs with the knowledge needed to understand the technological world and gain competitive advantage in value-added production. The platform aims to provide coding education to 50,000 children aged 7-13 across TEGV's 71 learning centers over one year. Children will also be able to participate in education from any location through the provided mobile education platform. According to FutureBright Group's research on technology usage trends in Turkey, Turkish society falls short in integrating technological tools into education, design and digital-based production. The Produce with Technology Platform will also establish a "Software Technologies Training Center" for entrepreneurs within ITU ARI Teknokent. The platform will further provide vocational high school and university students with opportunities in 3D printer training, advanced coding and professional software training, social media management and web design education.   Source
