TİM President Gülle Comments on New Economic Program Structural Transformation Steps 2019

Evaluating "New Economic Program Structural Transformation Steps 2019" in line with the targets set under the New Economic Program (YEP), Turkey Exporters Council (TİM) President İsmail Gülle stated, "I view this as a new roadmap containing a completely new 'architecture' that will encompass Turkey's Economy in all 360 degrees. We regard the continued increase in support for exports and employment as good news for our sector." Pointing out that the announced reform steps and measures constitute the first steps of a 'future design' for Turkey's Economy that will be shaped by the economy management under Minister Albayrak's coordination, President Gülle said: "The strengthening of state banks' capital, the transition to an approach that prioritizes taxpayers in the tax field, and the inclusion of changes regarding the legal dimensions of commerce among the reforms are important headings that stand out. As the reforms are implemented, Turkey's economy will gain strength." he added.
