Vakıfbank Women's Volleyball Team Wins World Championship
Vakıfbank Women's Volleyball Team wins FIVB Women's World Club Championship. Vakıfbank defeated Italian team Imoco Volley 3-2 in the final to claim the trophy.
Vakıfbank won the FIVB Women's World Club Championship for the fourth time, securing its place in Turkish volleyball history. Vakıfbank delivered an outstanding performance against Italian side Imoco Volley in the final.

The match began with an even exchange of points. Vakıfbank then mounted a strong offensive with Gabi and Haak, winning the first set. In the second set, the Italian team leveled the score at 1-1. Vakıfbank won the third set, but the Italian team refused to surrender, tying it 2-2 in the fourth set.
In the deciding set, both teams fought intensely. Playing strong volleyball with Ogbogu, Hackley and Haak, the Vakıfbank women's volleyball team won the match 3-2, securing the championship and bringing the trophy to their museum for the fourth time. The team had previously finished second in 2011 and third in 2016 and 2019.
Medals Presented to Applause
Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu presented the trophy to the team. The trophy ceremony for the FIVB Women's World Club Championship, organized in Turkey for the first time, took place at Ankara Sports Hall. The names of Vakıfbank's coaching staff and players were announced individually. The team took the field to audience applause, and medals were presented by Minister Kasapoğlu and Turkey Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ.Showed an Outstanding Display of Competition
