Color of Artificial Intelligence to be Determined with Cubo Support The 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics in Engineering (UMYMK 2022), to be held this year in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, will take place on 20-21-22 May at Azerbaijan Technical University. CUBO will participate in the event under the slogan "Color of Artificial Intelligence" in line with its vision of preparing for the future and contributing to change. CUBO, which has supported the 'International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics in Engineering' held in previous years in Antalya and of which the fourth edition is being held this year, is participating in the event with the slogan 'Color of Artificial Intelligence'. The 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics in Engineering (UMYMK 2022) being held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan this year, takes place on 20-21-22 May at Azerbaijan Technical University. The conference, jointly organized by five universities—Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Gazi University, Süleyman Demirel University, Azerbaijan Technical University and Düzce University—is being held in line with its vision of preparing for the future and contributing to change.  

Artificial Intelligence and Technologies of the Future

  The opening address at the congress, which began on 20 May at Azerbaijan Technical University in Baku, was delivered by Congress General Chair Prof. Dr. Tuncay Yiğit. Noting that they have observed artificial intelligence to be the fastest-growing technology particularly in the field of information technology, Yiğit stated: "We feel the effects of the digital world in all areas of our lives. We know that we have great potential to rewrite all industry rules and create a new world with artificial intelligence. We are proud to be holding this international-level conference in Baku this year. Having shared common values has enabled us to strengthen bonds of friendship and brotherhood in all fields such as education, science, economics and defence. Our country has hosted students from Turkish republics for years and has signed very important projects together with highly valued scientists raised from these lands. In this context, in a period when bridges of scientific and technological cooperation are being built from every perspective, I am greatly pleased to be in Baku with you, esteemed scientists. On your behalf, I thank our colleagues in the organizing and coordination committees who worked for a year to make our conference a reality, and I wish for a successful and productive conference," he said. With approximately 250 researchers registered for the conference, a total of 227 papers—150 in English, 70 in Turkish and 7 in Azerbaijani—will be presented over three days in 40 parallel sessions. Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Serdar Üncü, Faculty Member at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Technology, Isparta University of Applied Sciences, stated that they work with their Master's students on artificial intelligence, image processing and light, and expressed their pleasure that CUBO, a Mediterranean company, supports their work. Adding that they value cooperation between industry and universities, Serdar Üncü said: "It is quite important for the advancement of technology that industrialists support us universities, and that we support them with our scientific research and work, contributing to the development of our country." The three-day conference with international participation has supporters including, alongside CUBO, organizations such as TUBITAK, Havelsan and Turksat.
