Akcoat Ranks Among Top 10 Companies in the Sector with R&D Investments

Advanced chemical coatings manufacturer Akcoat continues to climb prestigious business performance rankings. In the Istanbul Chamber of Industry's (İSO) "Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises" (İSO 500) survey, Akcoat ranked 426th, and in Fortune Magazine's "Fortune 500" list—which ranks the country's largest companies—it rose to 439th position. The company also distinguished itself in R&D investments. In business and economics magazine Turkishtime's "R&D 250" survey, Akcoat ranked among the top 10 companies with the highest R&D spending in its sector. Advanced 15 positions in Fortune 500

For approximately half a century, Akcoat has manufactured five main product groups—enamel, ceramic, pigment, non-stick and decorative coatings—across two continents. In Fortune Magazine's annual "Fortune 500" survey ranking the country's largest companies, Akcoat advanced 15 positions from the previous year to rank 439th. In the same list's chemical substances sector ranking, it placed 19th. In İSO's "Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises" (İSO 500) survey, Akcoat rose 20 positions from its previous year's ranking to place 426th. In Turkishtime Magazine's R&D 250 survey, now in its tenth year, Akcoat ranked 22nd in the chemical substances and products sector with 73 R&D projects.
