Betek Boya Names New Appointment

Merve Bayrakçı Baycan has been appointed Director of Human Resources at Betek Boya, the leader in the Turkish paint sector. Bayrakçı Baycan, who played an active role in human resources matters during the transfer of Betek Boya shares to Nippon Paint, Asia's leading paint brand, will be responsible for managing all Human Resources operations at Betek Boya, which operates in the chemical sector with 6 production facilities, 1 of which is abroad, and 1 overseas sales office.

Who is Merve Bayrakçı Baycan?

Merve Bayrakçı Baycan graduated from the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at Uludağ University in 2004. She began her professional career in 2005 as Human Resources Specialist at Betek Boya. In 2008, she joined the Toyota Türkiye Human Resources team. Returning to Betek Boya in 2013, she worked as Human Resources and Organizational Development Manager. In 2018, Bayrakçı Baycan was appointed Human Resources Manager with expanded scope and responsibilities, taking part in the company's restructuring. Within the framework of Nippon Paint-Betek cooperation, she played an active role in processes for transforming and strengthening the organization in alignment with objectives and strategies that were established.
