Turkish Name Included in Young Global Leaders List

[caption id="attachment_123638" align="aligncenter"] Burcu Öztürk[/caption]   Founded in 2005 by World Economic Forum Founder and Chief Executive Officer Klaus Schwab, the community expands each year with a list of leaders under 40 who are believed to have a positive impact on the world's future and are active in science, art, media, sports, business, civil society, social entrepreneurship and health. Individuals invited to join the Young Global Leaders community work over a five-year period to find solutions to the world's challenges. This year, those selected for the list and joining the Young Global Leaders community will work over the next five years to develop lasting solutions by focusing on various issues, particularly health, for a sustainable future.

Focus on Sustainable and Inclusive Health Systems

MLP Care Chief Financial Officer Burcu Öztürk, expressing her pride and excitement at being part of the World Global Leaders community, stated: "Being selected to represent my country in this important community and contributing to lasting solutions to be developed for the world on behalf of my country doubles my pride and excitement. Over the next five years, we will focus on projects to develop a sustainable and inclusive health system with young leaders from different parts of the world. Being part of such an important organization that conducts results-oriented work on a global scale will be a very valuable experience. I serve as an executive at a company that is recognized worldwide in the health sector and has more than a quarter-century of case studies and practical experience. I believe this accumulated knowledge will guide me in the health-related work I will undertake with the community," she said. The Young Global Leaders community has over 1,400 members from more than 120 countries worldwide. Notable past members include Finland Prime Minister Sanna Marin, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Costa Rica President Carlos Alvarado Quesada, actor Yao Chen, lawyer Amal Clooney and filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu.
