Ersin Çelik, Founder of Halimoğlu Fasarit Boya

We have learned with great sadness of the passing of Ersin Çelik, founder, honorary chairman and pioneer of the paints sector at Halimoğlu Fasarit Paints company. Ersin Çelik was laid to rest on Sunday, 8 April 2018 at the Zincirlikuyu Cemetery Mosque. We offer our condolences to his family, relatives and loved ones, and pray for his eternal rest. Following his studies that began in 1958 at the State Applied Fine Arts School (TGSO), now known as Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Çelik deepened his education both theoretically and practically through an internship he undertook in Germany. Utilizing this knowledge and experience successfully for the development of the paints sector in our country, Çelik initiated numerous innovations in the field of decorative paints and their applications. The uninterrupted operation of Halimoğlu Fasarit Paints for over 50 years has undoubtedly been achieved thanks to the solid foundations and sound foresight laid by Çelik. We remember Ersin Çelik with respect for his contributions to the paints sector.
