Mehmet Ürek Appointed Deputy General Manager for Sales and Marketing at Mas Grup

Mehmet Ürek has been appointed Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Marketing at Mas Grup, one of Turkey's largest domestically-owned manufacturers of pumps and pump systems. Mehmet Ürek, a graduate of Uludağ University's Mechanical Engineering department, began his professional career in 2002 as a Sales and Marketing Specialist. He subsequently worked as Corporate Sales Manager at Vaillant Group until 2010, and later took on the role of Country Manager responsible for Turkey, Turkic Republics and Middle East regions at Swedish firm ESBE. Following his most recent position as Sales Manager at Wilo, Mehmet Ürek joined Mas Grup as Deputy General Manager responsible for Domestic Sales, Export, Marketing, Technical Service and Logistics departments. In a statement on the matter, Mehmet Ürek said: 'Mas Daf, one of the largest manufacturers in its field, is today one of the largest domestic producers continuously making many industry firsts and investing in production and R&D. With exports to 65 countries we are establishing a presence globally, and with our growing business partners we are contributing to our country's economy.
