Key Appointment at Saint-Gobain

Cenk Çotur, who has served as Sales and Marketing Director at Saint-Gobain Abrasives since 2018, will now take on the role of General Manager for Turkey, Middle East, Africa and Export Countries. Saint-Gobain Abrasives, which operates in 28 countries with 59 factories and supplies products and solutions for all types of abrasive applications, has been conducting its operations in Turkey since 2014 through its headquarters in Istanbul and two factories located in Eskişehir and Gebze. Cenk Çotur will lead the development and implementation of new strategies at Saint-Gobain Abrasives, as the company increases its effectiveness in the local market and establishes Turkey as a hub for different geographies. Çotur graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University in 2000 and began his professional career as a field engineer. Throughout his professional career spanning more than 20 years, he successfully held positions in product management, sales and marketing at Hilti and Sika, companies operating in the construction materials sector. Cenk Çotur joined Saint-Gobain Abrasives in 2018 as Sales and Marketing Director and was appointed to the position of General Manager as of 1 September 2021.
