Xylem Strengthens Regional Impact with New General Manager for Middle East and Turkey
Xylem Inc. (NYSE: XYL), a global water technology company dedicated to developing innovative and technological solutions to the world's most critical water-related challenges, today announced the appointment of Naji Skaf as General Manager responsible for the Middle East and Turkey.
Naji Skaf brings extensive experience to his new general manager role, with 23 years of experience in the energy sector and 17 years of business experience in the region.
He previously held the position of Middle East & Turkey President at Air Products and served as CEO of Air Products Qudra, a joint development and investment initiative between Air Products and Qudra Energy, a subsidiary of Vision Invest (formerly ACWA Holding).
Throughout his career, Naji Skaf has served on the boards of numerous organizations including the Middle East Gas Association, AJWAA and Egyptian Industrial Gas Company, and has chaired these boards. Skaf brings remarkable experience from his work in the energy sector.
Based in Dubai, Naji Skaf will lead the business by expanding and developing internal operations, maintaining strong relationships among stakeholders and customers, and ensuring continuous commercial growth across the Middle East and Turkey.
Originally Lebanese, Skaf has lived and worked in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East, and holds Canadian citizenship. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in Canada and an MBA from the University of Houston in the United States. He also possesses extensive experience and understanding necessary for his new leadership role.
