Kordsa Receives Another Gold Medal from EcoVadis

Kordsa, one of the world's leading materials technology companies, has been awarded the 'Gold Medal' once again by EcoVadis, a global sustainability rating platform, for its successful performance in sustainability.

Kordsa, a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, continues to be recognized worldwide for its successful sustainability practices. With its materials technology vision implemented with a focus on sustainability and innovation, Kordsa—which is pioneering the green transformation of the global reinforcement sector—has been awarded the Gold Medal by EcoVadis, one of the world's most respected platforms for sustainability ratings, this year as well, following last year's recognition. 

EcoVadis, which evaluates more than 130,000 companies from approximately 220 industries worldwide, assesses public and private enterprises of all sizes—large, medium and small—from a holistic sustainability perspective. Following evidence-based assessments in the areas of environment, employees and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement practices, companies are given scores ranging from 0 to 100, and are classified into bronze, silver, gold or platinum categories corresponding to this score. Companies ranking in the top 5 percent of the assessment are awarded the gold medal.
