Novartis İlaç Launches Barrier-Free Healthcare Project
Novartis Pharma, supporting inclusive and egalitarian living, is advancing toward becoming a "vision-accessible brand" with its Accessible Health project.
Novartis Pharma, which supports talent diversity and aims to make its treatments accessible to all segments of society, has partnered with BlindLook to eliminate problems that visually impaired individuals face in accessing healthcare services. Through its "Special Talents Within Us" project, Novartis Pharma supports inclusive living in terms of corporate social responsibility, workplace diversity and inclusion.
Three-phase project developed
The BlindLook partnership, launched to enable visually impaired individuals to better understand the treatments offered by Novartis Pharma and access product information without requiring a third party, consists of three phases. In the first phase, all Novartis Pharma employees at every level will receive training on the concept of "disability" to transform mental barriers. In the second phase, departments that particularly interact with visually impaired individuals will receive in-depth training focused on developing and supporting new projects in this area. In the final phase of the project, the instructions for use of more than 100 Novartis Pharma products will be voice-narrated using voice simulation technology developed by BlindLook. Upon completion of the project, Novartis Pharma will become the first pharmaceutical company in Turkey to receive EyeBrand certification.Advertisement
