Assan Panel, a group company of Kibar Holding, qualified to receive the Zero Waste Certificate for its Balıkesir, Tuzla and İskenderun facilities following an inspection conducted by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanism and Climate Change. Operating in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the company continues to provide sustainable building solutions and services to different sectors through its exports to 85 countries worldwide with environmentally and health-friendly products manufactured at its facilities. The company is working to reduce the negative environmental impact of its operations and contribute to combating climate change. As a result of energy efficiency projects and improvement initiatives implemented, the sustainability, circular economy and innovation-based production model adopted, waste volume has been reduced by 33.1% over the last 5 years.
