Takeda Türkiye Takes Part in Environmental Cleanup Activities

Takeda Turkey Participates in Environmental Cleanup Events Takeda Turkey employees took part in the 'World Environment Day' event organized by 'Let's Do It'. This event was held simultaneously worldwide to raise awareness about environmental pollution. At the synchronized events, volunteers collected waste discarded in nature, contributing to the reduction of environmental pollution. For over 240 years, Takeda has combined the experience provided by its established and strong heritage with an innovation focus, dedicating itself to offering patients a "Healthier, Brighter Future." Takeda ranks among the world's top 10 pharmaceutical companies and conducts all its operations in more than 80 countries where it is active according to an environment-focused policy. Held simultaneously on the third Saturday of September each year and organized by 'Let's Do It', the events this year took place at 272 different locations across all 81 provinces of Turkey. Takeda Turkey employees participated in these events held at various locations throughout Turkey. With the support of volunteers worldwide, the Takeda Turkey team participating in the event organized to clean waste discarded in nature contributed to removing glass bottles, plastic bags, food waste, PET bottles, cigarette butts, cardboard and paper waste from nature.
