Exports of the Chemicals Industry are Growing

Exports of the Chemicals Industry are Growing According to data of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Türkiye’s exports increased by 3 percent in October compared to the same period of last year and reached 21.3 billion dollars. The chemicals industry, on the other hand, achieved an export value of 2.6 billion dollars with a 15 percent increase in October. The exports of the industry in the first 10 months increased by 37.1 percent and exceeded 28 billion dollars.  

“Plastics and products” was the highest exported product group in October

  Plastics and products became the highest exported chemicals and products product group in October with an export value of 766 million 59 thousand dollars. The second group was mineral fuels, mineral oils, and products with an export value of 732 million 722 thousand dollars while inorganic chemicals occupied the third place with an export value of 272 million 657 thousand dollars’ worth of exports. ‘Inorganic chemicals’ were followed by ‘essential oils, cosmetics and soap’, ‘rubber, rubber products’, ‘pharmaceuticals’, ‘paint, varnish, ink, and their products’, ‘miscellaneous chemical products’, ‘cleaning products’ and ‘fertilizers’.
