Chemline Coatings and Their Application Against Chemical Corrosion in Various Sectors
Chemline Coatings significantly increase product performance and corrosion resistance. Chemline is a new formula with the patented Siloxirane 28 polymer, engineered and designed with 28 functional groups in each molecule.
What high cross-link density means for Chemline:
• Higher chemical resistance, • Higher temperature resistance, • Higher reactivity at low temperatures, • Higher resistance to absorption, • Higher hardness. Chemline coatings cure at low heat. When cured, they develop an extremely dense cross-linked molecular structure due to high 28 functionality. Unlike comparable coatings, Chemline cross-links predominate through carbon-oxygen-carbon bonds. This eliminates high concentrations of hydroxyl groups (found in phenolic epoxies) and prevents hydrolysis from ester groups and aggressive effects from acids.Key product advantages
• Superior adhesion and bonding strength, • Maximum cargo flexibility and product conversion, • Repairability, • Very low VOC – 108 grams/liter, • Applicability on worn and perforated surfaces, • Transportability with food-grade cargoes, • Resistance to all IMO cargoes, • Impermeability without compromising product purityHigher chemical resistance than:
• Stainless steel, • Phenolic epoxy paint, • Zinc paint.Chemline coatings provide superior resistance to:
• Acids, alkalis and solvents, • Thermal shock (-40°C to +200°C), • Bending stress, • Wear and abrasion, • Product absorption, • Impact, • Friction wear.Applications for Chemline Coatings
In Oil and Refining Facilities: ChemLine® coatings provide excellent protection and corrosion resistance in all petroleum products and refining facilities. Even at high temperatures, ChemLine® coatings offer an impermeable coating system that resists chemical and corrosive effects. In Tank Storage and Terminals:
ChemLine® protects tanks from aggressive acids, alkalis, solvents and CPPs even at high temperatures. ChemLine® polymer coatings are 97% solids with extremely low VOC, making them the preferred coating system for chemical storage tanks. In Pipelines:
ChemLine® coatings are used to coat the inner walls of pipes exposed to corrosive service conditions during oil exploration operations. Robust, durable and long-lasting, ChemLine® coatings resist aggressive chemicals and acids, high-pressure gases, high abrasion conditions and high temperatures. In Road Tankers and Isocontainers:
ChemLine® coatings provide advanced tank coating protection for road vehicles. The unique cross-linked polymer structure of ChemLine® products prevents any chemicals from penetrating the coating, thus ensuring product purity on one hand while providing excellent corrosion resistance on the other. In Rail Transport:
ChemLine® coatings provide superior chemical resistance for tanks and bottom-discharge railway wagons. The outstanding chemical resistance of the coatings against thousands of chemicals allows cargo changes with guaranteed cargo purity after simple cleaning. In Chemical Tankers:
ChemLine® coatings have the ability to provide exceptional resistance against over 5,000 chemicals including all IBCs, hazardous cargoes, food products, edible oils, fatty acids, solvents, acids, caustic substances and biodiesel fuel.In Power Plants:
Robust Chem-Line® coatings resist aggressive applications in power centers such as flue gases, desulfurization systems, cleaners, coatings, pipes, stacks, spray towers and fans. ChemLine® coatings have high heat capacity up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit (260 degrees Celsius) and provide chemical resistance. In Chemical Plants:
In chemical facilities, ChemLine® provides optimum protection against caustic substances, solvents and acids. In environments such as tanks and pipes, ChemLine® provides superior long-term performance when hazardous chemicals cause problems within or around processing equipment. On Concrete Surfaces:
Chemline is a protective coating for concrete floors, walls, protected areas and structural steel that can be cured at ambient or low temperatures and resists all types of corrosion including acids. Capt. Koray Karagöz General Manager Marine Line Coating San. İç ve Dış Tic. A. Ş.Advertisement
