Hanex successfully represents more than 20 companies within its portfolio. Until the early 2000s, the primary sector served was wood-based panel manufacturing. However, with our principals Berndorf Band, SBS-Steel Belt Systems, Airprotech, IFA Technologies and Wessel, we provide services specifically oriented toward the chemical industry. Airprotech

Airprotech designs, installs and supplies turnkey facilities for the treatment of contaminated gas emissions. In these facilities, based on experience gained across various product sectors and drawing on the 25 years of technical expertise of our personnel in their respective fields, reliable and modern technologies form the foundation. Comprehensive management of operations, monitoring of requirements, continuity of relationships and tracking of management costs are priorities in our relations with customers. Its global presence, extensive experience in various application areas and high-quality systems position Airprotech as a market leader in V.O.C and V.I.C purification systems. In the paint sector, emission management and reduction play a significant role in coating processes using solvent-based paints. For volatile organic compounds (VOC) contained in coating products and solvents to reach waste gas emission limit values, adaptation to reduction systems is necessary. During application and drying, solvents in paints evaporate and must be absorbed through appropriate methods and transported to systems that prevent their release into the atmosphere. APT manufactures custom-built, high-technology systems that specifically address operating costs, apply the most suitable technologies and deliver optimal efficiency. In the chemical sector, gases destined for processing often originate from reactors, mixers or floating/sinking roof tanks. With our technical knowledge and experience in the chemical field, Airprotech designs systems that process different streams based on production characteristics, ensuring maximum energy efficiency from our systems and guaranteeing the safest operating conditions for our customers.

IFA

IFA Technology is active worldwide in process technology, particularly manufacturing fully automatic weighing, mixing and dosing systems for all liquids and solids in Germany. IFA supports customers worldwide with more than 350 references established in 40 countries to meet their system requirements. Our systems can be adapted according to the diversity of our production characteristics. To ensure that the production process is safe and as effective as possible, continuous adaptation of facilities to safety standards is important for the protection of human health. In addition to applicable machinery safety standards such as CE, OSHA and EAC, we design and manufacture our systems as explosion-proof (Ex-Proof) according to globally accepted ATEX, ICE_EX or NEC/NFPA standards.

Wessel

Based in Hamburg, environmental specialist Wessel-Umwelttechnik focuses on its biological air outlet cleaning systems with diverse designs and a wide range of applications. In addition to advanced bio-scrubber systems, this year's focus is on newly designed BIOCA-DUO scrubbers featuring a combination of dust and VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) separation integrated with water treatment systems. Exhaust air cleaning facilities with a broad product portfolio are also supported by energy savings and energy conversion systems.
