Rheomax® ETD is a waste management method using new technologies to alter and control the structural and drainage properties of mineral processing residues. Waste thickeners with high yield stress typically produce high-density underflow that is pumped long distances, often to the final storage area. The waste is then deposited, dried and finally rehabilitated. Rheomax® ETD has the ability to consolidate waste at the treatment point by influencing rapid water discharge from treated slurry. This accelerates the drying time of these wastes, resulting in smaller waste storage area and allowing released water to return to processing more quickly.Benefits Achieved with Waste Section Consolidation;
