NOV-T Model Mechanical Seal Pumps
Klaus Union GmbH, established in 1946 in Bochum, Germany, and a manufacturer of magnetic coupling pumps as its main product, invested in Turkey in 2021, during the pandemic when investments stalled, and established Klaus Union Turkey factory.
In doing so, the company increased production capacity and became the owner of a new logistics center. As Klaus Union Turkey, we currently produce mechanical seal chemical industrial pumps to ISO 2858 standard at our 1,250 m² facility in Kemalpasa, Izmir.
Despite less than a year having passed since our establishment, our NOV-T model mechanical seal pumps have begun to be commissioned in chemical, mining, petrochemical and power plants. We can deliver pumps made of 1.4408 material as standard in a short timeframe depending on stock availability. In addition to 1.4408 material, we can also provide material options of 1.0619, 9.4539 (904L), and 1.4409.

Temperature: -20°C / +220°C (higher temperatures available on request)
Options: Drain, vent, plan 11 connection, central feet, housing heating/cooling.
All raw materials in our production undergo incoming quality controls before entering our system. All pump housings entering our system are subjected to hydrostatic testing according to EN ISO 5199 standard.
With our test facility, we can currently perform tests on pumps up to 600 m³/h and 20 bar. All pumps leaving Klaus Union Turkey factory undergo 100% testing and are shipped with test values. We can also perform 4-hour mechanical run-in test (Klaus Union Standard), bearing temperature test (ISO 5199), sound pressure level test (EN ISO 20261), NPSH test (EN ISO 9906), and vibration tests (EN ISO 9906) on our test system upon request from our customers.
The standard shaft material for NOV-T model pumps is 1.4462 duplex material, which has high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, and since the shaft thickness is used at an upper class level compared to many manufacturers, loads on the bearings are balanced, thereby minimizing potential bearing failures. The pump impeller balancing is achieved through blades located on the back shroud or, depending on design, through wear rings. Klaus Union maintains high material wall thickness in this design, enabling pumps to operate for longer years.
