Offoam® Is a Premium Product That Solves Foam Problems in Industrial Systems

Foam is gas trapped within a liquid. Foam forms when surface tension is reduced in agitated, boiled, fermented or poured liquids, allowing air bubbles to enter. The bubbles created by gas trapped within a liquid are called "foam."

Foam in Production:

• Makes dispersion difficult, • Increases production costs, • Causes surface defects in the finished product, • Reduces production capacity. To prevent such problems, various defoamers suited to specific applications are used.

Defoamers are primarily divided into two categories based on their characteristics.

How Do Defoamers Work?

• OFFoam® uses hydrophilic-hydrophobic molecules to strengthen bonds between liquid molecules and increase surface tension by leveraging cohesive forces, • Thanks to increased surface tension, foam formation is prevented, • The same molecules distance gases from the liquid, causing the foam to disappear.
