Since 2006, OMAK Makine has been manufacturing flexible film heaters and working with numerous partners in the chemical industry, defence industry, medical companies and universities. We have facilitated the production of items that could not previously be manufactured domestically and reduced production costs through local manufacturing. During these collaborations, we have engaged most closely with chemical companies, assisting in solving their challenges. With our V3185 and V4185 models, which have completed their R&D phase, we are once again on the threshold of such a partnership. Many drum heaters currently on the market are imported or designed to accommodate multiple drum types simultaneously, which introduces structural problems. One of the most significant of these problems is sizing. A heater model that fits small cans or drums creates empty space in larger drums and containers. This situation always results in heat loss in large drums. Cabin-style drum heaters that prevent this would occupy as much space as the drum itself in the work area. This, therefore, means inventory costs for factories. Another significant problem is that meeting the needs of all drums and containers within a wide range requires high power ratings. This can lead to unnecessary wear on the installed piping or the need for more robust electrical lines.

Our drum heaters, which solve these problems, wrap the desired drum completely and, thanks to their thin design, heat up quickly and transfer heat to the product efficiently. Additionally, with digital temperature control, they eliminate risks such as contact arcing or contact sticking while providing precise temperature control.

Being manufactured with film heater technology allows for much longer service life compared to wire, cable or flat resistance elements, and enables you to easily roll it up and store it on your shelf when use is complete. In a 1 m³ space, you can store approximately 16 drum heaters in their original packaging. A uniform heating surface, which is an important requirement for chemical products, has been reduced to gaps of up to 1 cm between our two heating lines thanks to our film heaters. In this way, the gaps between heating lines in some heaters, which can reach 10–15 cm in their structural design, have dropped to negligible levels, thereby improving homogeneous heating quality and overall efficiency. The V3185 and V4185 models take these features one step further. Unlike standard drum heaters, they take measurements from three separate points and provide temperature control. This feature allows users to activate the desired section or change the temperature of a specific section, while also enabling more homogeneous heating. Additionally, since cooling will be reduced in areas without material, energy savings are achieved through lower energy consumption.   C.
