Ruetasolv Agents and Novares Resins

Ruetasolv agents are non-reactive modifiers based on naphthalene or biphenyl. They are suitable for coatings, casting processes, reactive systems and water-based formulations. Novares products are petrochemical-based thermoplastic hydrocarbon resins. Both product groups are suitable for various applications based on different polymer chemistry. In coatings, they improve flexibility, hydrophobicity, corrosion resistance and wetting properties.

These materials used for different applications:

• Adjust the viscosity of formulations. • Increase hydrophobicity and chemical resistance. • Increase flexibility. Modified epoxy systems with these products demonstrate much better performance even under severe environmental conditions compared to unmodified formulations. Due to their positive properties, modified products generally help extend the life of a formulation and increase surface protection.

Effects of Ruetasolv Agents and Novares Resins on Pigment Pastes

Novares specialty liquid resins and Ruetasolv agent provide significant convenience in the preparation of pigment formulations thanks to their excellent wetting and homogeneous distribution properties. Since these products contain no solvents, they are particularly suitable for low-VOC and VOC-free system formulations.
