SKYRAY EDX2800 B RoHS Analysis Device
The RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) regulation prohibits the use of substances harmful to human health—such as Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), and Bromine (Br) compounds—in electronic circuit boards, electronic products, and materials such as plastics, solder, and coatings that make up electronic products.
The EDX 2800B model RoHS analyzer is the result of Skyray's extensive experience in RoHS analysis over many years. With fully user-friendly software, it is possible to perform RoHS analyses using parameters customized for numerous different matrices with user-specific calibrations.
Some of these calibrations include:
• Cr, Cd, Hg, Pb in PE and plastics. • Cr, Cd, Hg, Pb in steel. • Cr, Cd, Pb, Hg in solder materials. • Cr, Cd, Pb, Hg in alloy metals.Device Technical Specifications:
• "EDXRF (Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence)" method. • Measurement capability between S-U. • Design suitable for use in RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) analysis. • Ready RoHS calibration. • 60–200 second test time. • 75 different elements. • Visual alert provided by software after testing as "pass" or "fail". • Operation on a wide variety of matrices. • Measurements at ppm levels. • Si-Pin detector with electrically cooled 160±5 eV detector resolution. • Various filter and collimator options. • High-resolution internal CCD camera for correct sample positioning. • Automatic locking system on upper cover and high-voltage emergency lock for maximum safety. • Windows-based software. • Production in compliance with CE standards.
