DOMO's ECONAMID® sustainable polyamide is now even more environmentally friendly

DOMO Chemicals, a leader in sustainable polyamide solutions, has begun using a new sustainable black masterbatch based on recycled materials to complement the recycled base polymer in its ECONAMID® brand sustainable polyamides. Based on recycled industrial waste, ECONAMID® sets a benchmark in the industry with regard to performance level and quality consistency in every batch. The new content is Cabot Corporation's TECHBLAK™ PE1003 black masterbatch (Masterbatch is a solid additive used to color plastics or impart other properties to plastics). It uses an industrially recycled PE carrier as an alternative to virgin polymer with similar mechanical processing properties. TECHBLAK™ PE1003 black masterbatch was developed for standard formulation and is specifically designed to help reduce the industry's carbon footprint while increasing the amount of recycled content in end products.
