Easy Export Platform: "We Are Entering a New Era in Exports"

Adil Pelister, Chairman of the Board of Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB), issued a written assessment today regarding the "Easy Export Platform" announced and introduced by Commerce Minister Ruhsar Pekcan. Pelister stated the following in his assessment: "The 'Easy Export Platform' announced today by our Commerce Minister Ruhsar Pekcan holds tremendous importance for the future of our exporters. We extend our gratitude on behalf of our exporters to all who contributed to this significant undertaking, which brings together all global data we may need regarding exports in a single platform and creates something of a reform in digital transformation, particularly to Commerce Minister Ruhsar Pekcan. As İKMİB, we were the first to point out that a new digital era had begun back in 2018. Operating with the belief that 'whoever manages digital transformation manages the future,' we emphasized the importance of e-commerce and stated that our exporters needed to be more effective on e-commerce platforms. With this vision, as İKMİB we organized the first virtual trade delegation and the first digital awards ceremony in exports. The platform provides exporters with detailed information ranging from market data to countries' tax rates. We believe that the Easy Export Platform, which will spread digital transformation among all our exporters and can be utilized even by prospective exporters, will open doors especially for our exporters in e-commerce. In this regard, we can say we are entering a new era. In a growing and productive strong Turkey, producing more and exporting more is our greatest responsibility as industrialists. With awareness of this responsibility, we will continue to contribute to our country's growth by working harder."
